Getting rid of these parasites is relatively simple. The most effective solution is to apply a lotion or shampoo with a high content of permethrin - 1%. It can be bought in stores or pharmacies without a prescription.
- Rinse and dry hair before shampooing.
- Apply treatment to the hair and scalp.
- Wait about 10 minutes and rinse with water.
- After washing, cleaning of the hair with a nit comb is necessary to facilitate removal of lice and nits.
- After 10 hours, perform another search for lice. If they appear to be active, check with your doctor before retreatment.
