To avoid the risks of an eating disorder, it is very important to follow healthy eating habits at home: a complete balanced diet and not eating alone. The whole family should eat together at least once per day, either at lunch or dinner.
- Provide a model for a normal diet (where “diet” is understood as intake of food).
 - Try to establish a regular schedule for meals, as the digestive system gets used to regularity.
 - Eat three meals a day: breakfast, lunch and dinner (with possibility of a fourth: a snack).
 - Have a full breakfast. Lunch and dinner should have three courses: starter, main course and dessert.
 - Serve normal quantities (portions) normal, with a diet that is balanced and varied (eat anything).
 - Under no circumstances should any of the three main meals be skipped.
